Congratulations to all of the social scientists who were recognised in the King’s 2026 Birthday Honours List, including Fellows of the Academy:
- Professor Monder Ram OBE DL FAcSS, Director of the Centre for Research in Ethnic Minority Entrepreneurship at Aston University, who received Commander of the Order of the British Empire for services to ethnic minority business and entrepreneurship.
- Professor Jo Swaffield FAcSS, Professor of Economics and Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Southampton, who received Officer of the Order of the British Empire for services to economics.
- Professor Kaye Wellings FAcSS, Professor of Sexual and Reproductive Health at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, who received Officer of the Order of the British Empire for services to sexual and reproductive health.
