The Academy of Social Sciences submitted a response to UK Research and Innovation’s consultation on the Research Excellence Framework 2028: issues for further consultation following the initial decisions. The consultation covered specific policy aspects related to the development of more detailed guidance and criteria following the publication of the initial decisions on the high-level design of the next research assessment exercise.
